3 Penrose Brewing Drinks Named Official Beer, Seltzer Of Illinois PGA Foundation

The Geneva brewery announced a three-year partnership with the Illinois golf association.

GENEVA, IL — Penrose Brewery rebranded three of its popular brews as part of a new three-year partnership with the Illinois Professional Golfers' Association Foundation.

The collaboration brings together the state's golf community with "one of Illinois' most innovative craft breweries," the golf association and brewery said in a news release.

The Geneva brewery, whose taproom is located at 509 Stevens St., will be rebranding Looper IPA, Transfusion Seltz-Up and Lemon Tea-Up to feature the Illinois PGA Foundation logo, designating them as the group's official beer and seltzer. Lemon Tea-Up won a gold medal at the 2024 U.S. Open Hard Selzter Championship.

A portion of the proceeds from every sale of the three drinks will benefit the Illinois PGA Foundation.

The newly labeled drinks will be available in early March. Buyers can place pickup orders through the Penrose Brewing website.
