30 New, Expanded Stores Open at Outlet Mall in Aurora

More than 30 new and expanded stores will open Thursday at Chicago Premium Outlets, at 1650 Premium Outlets in Aurora.

The new stores include: Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Old Navy Outlet, The Limited Outlet, Express Factory Outlet, Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet and American Eagle Outfitters, according to the Premium Outlets website. Other stores, such as the Michael Kors store, have been expanded. A full list of new stores can be viewed on the Premium Outlets website.

The 250,000 square-foot expansion of the outdoor center includes the addition of fire places, art installations and a feature pond, along with the addition of 2,200 parking spaces. The opening Thursday marks the completion of the first phase of an expansion project at the mall. Phase two will begin in spring, which includes a complete renovation of the existing center.

The outlet mall is promoting ”center-wide” savings during the Grand Opening of the new stores. Extended hours are also planned for Thursday through the weekend. The hours will be:

• Thursday, Aug. 27: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 28: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sat, Aug. 29: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Sun, Aug. 30: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
