4 Vikings on All-UEC Soccer Team; Wahl is All-American, Johnson is All-State
Four Geneva's boys soccer players earn Upstate Eight all-conference awards. Brady Wahl is named a High School All-American, and Robbie Johnson is on the all-state team this fall.
Four Geneva soccer players have earned all-conference honors in Geneva's first season in the Upstate Eight.
Brady Wahl, Robbie Johnson, Craig Hancock and Brian Ruane all got the all-conference nod for the River Division of the Upstate Eight.
In additin to all-conference honors, Brady Wahl was named an All-American this fall. He is the first soccer player at Geneva to earn that honor. He finished the season with 10 goals and 12 assists.
Robbie Johnson earned all-state honors this fall. He was voted the best defender by his teammates and he scored 8 goals with 2 assists.
Craig Hancock scored 1 goal and had 4 assists. "He was a defensive-minded center midfielder who was arguably our fittest player on the squad," coach Ryan Estabrook said.
Brian Ruane earned all conference honors "due to his versatility and reliability. He played primarily defensive roles for our team this fall.," Estabrook said.
