5 Geneva City Council Seats Will Be On 2027 Consolidated Election Ballot

GENEVA, IL — Five seats on the Geneva City Council will be on the ballot for the 2027 Consolidated Election.

On April 6, voters will take to the polls to select an alderperson in each of Geneva's five wards. The seats are currently held by Anais Bowring in Ward 1, Brad Kosirog in Ward 2, Dean Kilburg in Ward 3, Martha Paschke in Ward 4 and Mark Reinecke in Ward 5.

Each position is for a four-year term.

Prospective candidates can begin circulating petitions for the consolidated election on Aug. 25. The city shared a candidate information guide, which includes the petition, on its website.

The petition filing period is 8 a.m. Nov. 16 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 23.
