Christmas Walk in Geneva
- 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 2
The festivities begin at the courthouse square at 6 pm with the arrival of Santa Lucia, the first candy cane of the season, and Santa lighting the great tree and continue with roasted chestnuts, strolling carolers and a live nativity. You can also visit Santa on Friday evening and on Saturdays and Sundays and take a complimentary carriage ride throughout the Christmas season.

Holiday House Tour in Geneva
- 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, 4 p.m. on Saturday
Geneva's annual Holiday House Tour features five architecturally unique homes decked with boughs of holly and festive Christmas décor created by local designers. These lovely homes, aglow with holiday spirit, are sure to inspire decorating and entertaining ideas for your own home, according to the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets are $30 each and include a traditional holiday tea at the First Congregational Church at 327 Hamilton Street.

5th Annual Breakfast With Santa at Geneva High School
- 7:30 to 11 a.m. on Dec. 3
The Geneva Lions Club will host its fifth annual Pancake Breakfast with Santa at the Geneva High School Cafeteria, 415 McKinley in Geneva. In addition to free photos with Santa, the event features live holiday music and a free crafts section. New this year, there will be a pancake creation station. Customize your pancake with a variety of fun toppings.

The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and Arcedium Coffee. Tickets are $6 in advance or $7 at the door. Children three and under are free. Purchase your tickets from your favorite Geneva Lion, at the Geneva History Museum, State Street Jewelers or online at genevalionsclub.org.
Candlelight Carols by St. Charles Singers
- Dec. 2 through Dec. 4
The St. Charles Singers, led by choirmaster Jeffrey Hunt, will unwrap a colorful new array of more than 20 seasonal songs at its 33rd annual “Candlelight Carols” Christmas concerts in early December in St. Charles and Chicago. The Candlelight Carols will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2, at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, 307 Cedar Ave., St. Charles; at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 126 E. Chestnut St., Chicago; and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, at Baker Church in St. Charles.
The Legend of St. Nicholas at Batavia Public Library
- 2 to 3 p.m. on Dec. 4
Terry Lynch portrays the Old English Father Christmas, telling stories of St. Nicholas, the protector of children throughout the ages. Learn about the origins of St. Nicholas characters in various countries, popular Christmas symbols, and worldwide Christmas traditions. A program for the whole family. Registration is required.
