Run for a Great Cause
A portion of the money raised for the Graham’s Sundae 5K will go to The Mikey Wunderlich Foundation, which has a personal connection to the Graham’s Chocolate Family. Mikey Wunderlich was Jayni Wunderlich’s mother-in-law, daughter of owners Robert & Beckie Untiedt.

Mikey was a loving daughter, sister and mother who lost her battle to Cervical Cancer in February 2011. Mikey always had such a positive outlook on life and had the most fun being active outdoors with family and friends. Running was her passion, so much so that just a few moths prior to her passing, she ditched her wheelchair & walked the entire Hot Chocolate 5K in downtown Chicago. She never gave up, & she loved all things Graham’s!

The Mikey Wunderlich Foundation (http://formikey.org) is now raising money to benefit City of Hope, (www.cityofhope.org) which is one of 41 comprehensive cancer centers, with the highest designation bestowed by the National Cancer Institute for excellence in cancer treatment, research, prevention and education. Numerous breakthrough cancer drugs, including Herceptin, Rituxan and Avastin, are based on technology pioneered by City of Hope and are saving lives worldwide.
