Power Restored Following Geneva Outage

GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Public Works Departments has restored power to the city's west side. An outage affected about 900 residents started Friday morning and included Randall Road north of Kaneville Road to State Street (Route 38).

Public works officials believe an accident involving a car that hit electric equipment at State Street and Williamsburg Avenue led to the outage, according to city officials.
