Arts Fair Returns To Downtown Geneva This July

Downtown streets will be filled with various mediums of art for two days at the end of July as part of the annual Geneva Arts Fair.

GENEVA, IL — The annual juried Geneva Arts Fair is returning for two days at the end of July.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 29-30, the streets of downtown Geneva will be filled with art from artisans across the country. Visitors will be able to purchase original work, meet artists, and learn about their inspiration and techniques.

Similar to years past, Plandscape Inc. will transform the intersection of South Third and Franklin streets into a "comforting, breathtaking display of foliage and color."

"If you have never visited Geneva, now is your chance to see a picture-postcard town, overflowing with comfort and charm on a beautiful summer day," Geneva Chamber of Commerce officials said in a news release. "Tucked away amidst the gorgeous Fox River Valley, downtown Geneva boasts more than 100 specialty shops and restaurants, many located in historic storefronts and beautiful Victorian-style homes."

Admittance to the Geneva Arts Fair is free. Visitors with questions are encouraged to visit the Information Garden booth during the festival.
