AT THE HALF: Vikings 21, Rocks 21

Rock Island's big line and balanced running attack is tough to stop. But Geneva keeps coming back.

If this is the way Geneva football is going to be this year, it might be time to consider investing in a good defibrillator.

The Vikings marched 47 yards in 41 seconds to force a 21-21 tie at halftime of a seesaw battle in Rock Island.

The drive was sparked by Dylan Nobregas' 45-yard kickoff return, after the Rocks had rolled over Geneva's defense in their own impressive 3-minute possession, mostly on the back of 235-pound fullback Nikko Watson.

Two Geneva squib kicks gave the Rocks great field position to start two of their three touchdown drives.
