Barrels of fun in a Toyota
Downers Grove homeowners haul two rain barrels home to help with stormwater management.
Gina Curry of Downers Grove recently loaded up her Toyota with not one, but two 55-gallon rain barrels from The Conservation Foundation’s McDonald Farm in Naperville. Rain barrels allow homeowners to catch rainwater to use for lawn and garden watering, washing cars, or even the family dog. Her son Julian and the family dog, Momo, went along for the ride.
