Batavian Arrested for DUI, LaFox 18-Year-Old Caught Drinking in Geneva
Police reports: Two alcohol-related crimes reported in the Geneva police blotter this week.

Two alcohol-related arrests were made in Geneva, according to reports collected this week.
Major DUI—Geneva police arrested Michael D. Gentile, 29, of Batavia on charges of DUI alcohol and driving with a suspended/cancelled/revoked license after a traffic stop at around 1:10 a.m. May 18 on West Fabyan Parkway at Randall Road, reports said. Gentile’s Hyundai Accent was westbound on Fabyan Parkway at the time of the stop.
Consumption By a Minor—Geneva police issued a complaint and notice to appear at the Kane County Judicial Center on May 25 to Derek Larsen, 18, of LaFox, for consumption of alcohol by a minor. The incident took place at 12:20 a.m. May 15 in the 0-99 block of Richards Street, reports said.
