The Geneva Public Works Department will replace infrastructure, requiring the street closure for two partial days, officials said.

GENEVA, IL — A one-block stretch of School Street in Geneva closed starting Monday due to a water service replacement project.
The road will be closed for two partial days as the Geneva Public Works Department replaces infrastructure, officials said. School Street between Wall and Jefferson streets closed at 8 a.m. Monday and will temporarily reopen late morning before closing again Tuesday.
Drivers should use Garfield or Woodlawn streets as alternate routes. The construction, weather dependent, is subject to change, city officials said.
