Bridge Work Underway at Fabyan Forest Preserve

Bridge Work Underway at Fabyan Forest Preserve

Kane Forest: A section of the Fox River Trail within Fabyan Forest Preserve in Geneva will be closed Oct. 20 - Nov. 1 for bridge work.

The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will be replacing a small wooden bridge over a creek, on the southwest side of the preserve, near the Horticulturist’s building.

With the bridge construction project, trail users will not be able to cross the creek in this area. The District asks the public to plan ahead for an alternate route. Signs are posted on the trail to notify the public of the project.
