Brighton and The Little Traveler Collecting Handbags to Help Local Women in Need
Women Are Invited to "Give & Get" - By donating a gently used handbag, they'll receive $25 to $50 towards a new handbag.

Along with the accessory manufacturer Brighton, The Little Traveler is extending an invitation to join in their latest charitable initiative, the Handbag Trade-in. This is an annual drive to collect and deliver gently used handbags to women. Nearly every woman has handbags that she no longer carries, so The Little Traveler and Brighton are asking women to look into their closets and gather up the bags they no longer use.
Brighton’s owner and founder Jerry Kohl explains the goal of this nationwide event: “The simple gift of a handbag can do so much to lift a woman’s spirits, and it will also help her to look professional when she is interviewing for a much-needed job.”
When women bring their handbags to a participating retailer between July 17th and 26th, 2015, they will also receive $25 to $50 off a brand new Brighton bag. The donated handbags will be distributed through worthy local charities dedicated to empowering women who are struggling. Any manufacturer’s handbag can be donated to qualify for the savings. With a purchase of $100-$150, there is a $25 bonus; with a purchase of $151 or more, the bonus is $50.
