'Brokeback Bachelor' From Batavia Professes Love ... For Fellow Bachelor

The focus of a Batavia native who is currently vying for love on the “Bachelorette” is no longer centered on the show’s leading lady, Kaitlyn Bristowe.
In an unexpected turn, Clint Arlis, 27, said he has fallen for fellow contestant JJ Lane, according to a preview clip for Monday’s show.

“Falling in love with a man never crossed my mind,” Arlis said. He went on to state that he and Lane have “grown very close in the shower.”

Arlis also said “Kaitlyn is not the girl for him” and that “I love JJ, so I need the rose tonight.”
Arlis, 27, is an architectural engineer who lives in Chicago and Lane, 32, is a former investment banker from Denver. Arlis is a Batavia native who wrestled for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The next Bachelorette airs at 7 p.m. on Monday on ABC.
