Businesses Open Late This Friday in Geneva

GENEVA, IL — Several downtown Geneva shops will be open late this Friday as part of this month's First Friday event. Participating merchants will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 2 and will have specials, events and demonstrations.

The downtown shops plan to continue the First Friday program through the end of the year. The shops with the moon flags posted outside of their doors will be open late on First Fridays.

Participating businesses also will have an event posted on their Facebook pages, so people can be sure to check that out before heading to downtown Geneva.
