Geneva Community High School Invites Community to Celebrate 150th Anniversary with Spring Musical

This 2025-2026 school year marks the 150^th anniversary of Geneva Community High School. Theatrical productions have been an integral part of our school’s history, so GHS has planned a celebration in conjunction with the April 25th closing night of this year’s Spring Musical, Chicago: Teen Edition. GHS Alumni, stay in touch by providing your contact information.

Geneva High School’s Student Advisory Board (SAB) has planned the following events that day:

• 4:00 – 5:00 PM – GHS Open House – SAB members will provide tours that will include:
  • Stroll down Viking Blvd. and see the beautiful new GHS timeline created by the Geneva History Museum with assistance from GHS students.
  • View the newly renovated library.
  • Watch a demonstration by the RoboVikes (The GHS Robotics Team) in the Viking Commons.

• 5:00 – 6:00 PM– Dinner in the GHS cafeteria. Pasta, salad, and bread catered by Aurelio’s of Geneva. Proceeds to benefit the GHS Theater Boosters. 

• 7:00 PM – Closing performance of Chicago: Teen Edition in the GHS Auditorium. (There is also a 2:00 PM show you can catch before dinner, if you choose!)
