Friendship Station Preschool invites families to attend an Open House from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. This event offers the opportunity to tour our school; meet our amazing teachers; explore our educational and fun classrooms and STEAM room; and learn about our Enrichment Programs. Registration for 2026-27 school year is ongoing. Must be 3 or 4 by Sept. 1, 2026. Registration for the 2027-28 school year begins in February.
Friendship Station Preschool is guided by the philosophy of learning through play. Children learn to share, create, cooperate, interact, and solve problems in a supportive and interesting environment. Because each child is individual and unique, emphasis is placed on developing a positive self-image.
In keeping with the guidelines of Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Standards regarding early learning and literacy, our preschool program provides appropriate activities to enhance the literacy of the young child. Support for all children will be provided by loving, knowledgeable staff in a collaborative working partnership with families. Our lead teachers all have Bachelor of Arts degrees in early childhood education or a related field, and receive ongoing training.
Friendship Station Preschool offers several options for 3/4-year-olds and 4/5-year-olds. Additional themed Enrichment Classes are also offered to extend the learning and play experience. Limited openings for the current school year are available, and you can register now. Friendship Station Preschool is located at 2960 Blackman Road in Geneva.
From Randall Road, head west on Fargo Road. Turn left onto Shoop Drive. Turn right onto Blackman Road. The Friendship Station entrance is located on the east side of Geneva Middle School South (not through the main school doors). Limited parking is available in the Blackman Road lot and on nearby streets.
