Church Construction Project To Cause Public Parking Space Closures

GENEVA, IL — United Methodist Church of Geneva is undergoing a geothermal loop field installation project, which will cause the closure of a public parking lot, officials said Tuesday.

A portion of the Hamilton Street parking lot adjacent to the church, located at 211 Hamilton St., will be closed for several weeks to accommodate equipment staging. Some parking will remain open during construction, according to city officials.

The church project is expected to be finished by July 22.
