Computer engineering student makes dean’s list at Cedarville University
Willem Vandermeij from Geneva, majoring in Computer Engineering, was named to the spring 2023 Dean's Honor List at Cedarville University. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Geneva student earns University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Jessica Louise Brown of Geneva was among a record 3,669 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 19 and 20.
Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Business.
The graduates are from 59 countries; 47 states, the District of Columbia and Guam; and more than 240 Nebraska communities.

UW-Whitewater announces dean's list

Kelsey Drumheller of Geneva is one of more than 600 students who received diplomas and were recognized as Harding University graduates for Spring 2023 during a commencement ceremony on May 6, 2023.
Drumheller received a Bachelor of Arts in art.

Geneva students honored with award by Millikin University
The Millikin University community gathered again for the annual Honors Convocation and Distinguished Faculty Lecture on Thursday, April 27, at Kirkland Fines Arts Center to honor faculty, staff and student accomplishments as the 2022-23 academic year approaches its close.
Over 90 awards were presented to Millikin students and faculty who were honored for their commitment to academic excellence. Many awards have been created to distinguish alums from Millikin's past.

- Jessica Sheeler, from Geneva, received the DMH Cleland Award.

Dale Campbell of Geneva graduatedwith a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sioux Falls.

Augustana College awards degrees to Geneva students
Augustana College recognized 624 participants at the college's 163rd commencement ceremony Saturday, May 27. CNN Hero Nelly Cheboi '16 delivered the commencement address.
The Class of 2023 is the most diverse class in Augustana's 163-year history, with graduates hailing from 20 countries including the United States and 24 U.S. states.

- Mary Clare Koebel from Geneva, Ill., (60134) studied Neuroscience.
- Sloane McIlrath from Geneva, Ill., (60134) studied Creative Writing and Multimedia Journalism Mass Communication.
- Ava Pignataro from Geneva, Ill., (60134) studied Biology.
- Jacob Uhlmann from Geneva, Ill., (60134) studied Political Science and History.
