UW-Whitewater announces 2022 Geneva graduate

More than 1,530 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at this semester's ceremonies - held May 14 on the Whitewater campus, and May 17 on the Rock County campus.

The graduating class included 11 international students, 71 military veterans and 200 nontraditional students, defined as undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. In addition, 194 self-identified students with disabilities received degrees.

Geneva students receive degrees from Miami University

Miami University awarded degrees to several Geneva students during spring commencement.

  • Lauren Albrecht of Geneva, IL (60134) graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Kinesiology & Health, majoring in Kinesiology, Nutrition
  • Marie Duke of Geneva, IL (60134) graduated Magna Cum Laude, University Honors with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Professional Writing
  • Emily Johnson of Geneva, IL (60134) graduated Magna Cum Laude, University Honors with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Data Science and Statistics, Neuroscience
  • Andrew Martinez of Geneva, IL (60134) graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology

Geneva student named to spring 2022 dean's list at John Carroll University

Daniel Atkinson, from Geneva, graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in Spring 2022. Atkinson received a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering with Honors.

Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or above are listed as having graduated with "High Honors." Undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA between 3.20 and 3.69 are listed as having graduated with "Honors."

Geneva students earn faculty honors at Georgia Tech

Sean Chalmers of Geneva, IL, earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2022 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

Student from Geneva earns all-academic honors for UW-Whitewater track and field

Katie McNamara, a native of Geneva, IL, and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater track and field program, is one of 14 Warhawks who were named All-Academic by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2022 season.

Millikin University names Geneva students to spring dean's list

Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2022 semester.

Students who attempt 12 graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00-grade point average on 12 graded credits attempted to earn High Dean's List honors.

The students named to the Dean's List at Millikin University are listed in alphabetical order according to last name.

Augustana College announces 2022 graduates

Augustana College held its commencement ceremony on May 22. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin delivered the address. The graduating class totaled 508.

Those graduating were given advice by Senator Durbin, who reflected on the resilience and hard work of this year's graduates and commended Augustana's commitment to preparing the next generation of peacemakers and problem solvers.

Among the graduates who participated in the ceremony:
