Geneva native makes dean’s honor roll at University of Mississippi
The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Spring 2022 Honor Roll lists, including the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.

- Olivia Fuller, of Geneva, IL, majoring in Allied Health Studies, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll.
- Reese Lydon, of Geneva, IL, majoring in Mathematics, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll.
- Eliza Peters, of Geneva, IL, majoring in Journalism and Rhetoric, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll.
In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

Geneva student named to dean's list at Olivet Nazarene University
Cheney Ohler of Geneva, IL was named to the dean's list at Olivet Nazarene University during the recently completed spring 2022 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean's list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Geneva native makes chancellor’s honor roll at University of Mississippi
Kasey Murphy, of Geneva, IL, was named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2022 Honor Roll lists.
Murphy, majoring in Exercise Science, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
"The remarkable students achieving Chancellor's Honor Roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi," said Chancellor Glenn Boyce. "I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their outstanding academic achievements and this well-deserved recognition."

Amelia Anderson earns degree from the University of Vermont
Amelia Anderson of Geneva, IL graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in The Robert Larner M.D. College of Medicine during commencement ceremonies in May, 2022.
This year's commencement at the University of Vermont-the 221st in its history-marked a return to a traditional celebration outdoors on the University Green after two years of re-imagined ceremonies due to pandemic restrictions.
Erik Weihenmayer, one of the most renowned adventurers of the 21st century-best known as the first blind person to summit Mount Everest-urged graduates and family members to emulate a climber in their lives, not to quit or settle comfortably like a camper halfway up the peak. "Climbers understand life's an ongoing, never-ending process of reaching out into the darkness," he said, "reaching towards immense possibilities."
