Student from Geneva admitted into Lassonde Founders Program
Eric Palmquist, of Geneva, IL, was among the students admitted to the Lassonde Founders program for 2022-23.

The program is provided by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute — a top-5 ranked division of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Thirty-nine students, including some returning to the program for the second or third year, were admitted into the residential entrepreneur program for undergraduate students.

Belmont University students from Geneva perform in Requiem for Colour debut
Belmont University congratulations members of the Belmont Oratorio and orchestra who performed in Belmont School of Music Professor Jeffrey Ames's masterwork, Requiem for Colour.
Over 450 students from Belmont's Oratorio and orchestra performed to an audience of more than 1,200 people in the Fisher Center for Performing Arts. Requiem for Colour was a dynamic storytelling event which paid musical homage to the sufferers and saviors, the casualties and champions of Black American peoples in a requiem or mass for the dead.

Milwaukee School of Engineering dean’s list includes Geneva student
John O'Brien, from Geneva, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Dean's List with High Honors for the 2022 Fall Quarter. O'Brien is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in BioMolecular Engineering.
Undergraduate students who have earned at least 30 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher (out of 4.0) are on the Dean's List. Students who have maintained a 3.70 or higher receive "high honors."

Deeanna Perry named to the dean's list at Bob Jones University
Deeanna Perry, a Junior Public Health/Global Health major from Geneva, was among approximately 850 Bob Jones University students named to the Fall 2022 Dean's List.
The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.
