D155 High Schools To Get New Tennis Courts, Parking Lots
The District 155 school board could vote next week on $14 million in improvement projects. Find out what improvements are planned.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – The Community High School District 155 board could vote Tuesday on $14 million in summer improvement projects, which includes asbestos abatement at Crystal Lake Central and Cary-Grove, a new roof at Crystal Lake South and a new tennis court at Prairie Grove.
The Northwest Herald reports the following projects could move forward if the school approves the funds:
- New roof and intercom at Crystal Lake South as well as improvements to the first floor to make room for Haber Oaks Campus students. The board is slated to vote on closing Haber Oaks.
- Cary-Grove could see asbestos abatement done on pipe insulation, a new water line and new windows.
- Asbestos abatement on floor mastic and pipe insulation, a new parking lot, new tennis court, resurfaced track and new doors are possible for Crystal Lake Central.
- Prairie Ridge could get a new tennis court, new parking lot, storage shed, resurfaced track and intercom system.
