D304 Kindergarten Enrollment Opens For Next School Year
Kids must be 5 on or before Sept. 1 to be eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2022-23 school year.
GENEVA, IL — Kindergarten open enrollment has begun in Geneva School District 304, and parents have until March 1 to register their children, district officials announced Tuesday.
To attend kindergarten during the 2022-23 school year, kids must be 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2022, officials said.
An application can be found on the district's website. To enroll, the district requires parents to upload copies of official documents with the application. The following are required:

- Child's original birth certificate or a certified copy
- Two current proof-of-residency documents (one from each category)
- Category A: Current year property tax bill, current signed residential lease, closing documents on your home
- Category B: Electric bill, water bill, cable television bill, gas bill, City of Geneva bill
- Any legal custody documents that pertain to the student (if applicable)
Documents including insurance papers, credit card statements, personal mail, driver's license, checkbooks and rent receipts won't be accepted.
Families with children who attend the Geneva Early Learning Program and will start kindergarten next year don't have to fill out the enrollment application, district officials said.

Those who are registering kids into District 304 for the first time will be required to register for a new account in the online enrollment system before submitting an application. Returning families can log into the account, and officials said previous information will transfer into the new student's file.
