D304 Wants Public Input As Search Continues For New Superintendent
Kent Mutchler, District 304's superintendent since 2006, will leave the district when his contract expires in June, according to reports.
GENEVA, IL — As Geneva School District 304 searches for a new superintendent, officials are turning to the community for input.
District 304's superintendent since 2006, Kent Mutchler is set to leave the district when his contract expires June 30, 2023, according to reports from Shaw Local. The school board voted to hire executive search firm Ray and Associates Inc. in March to complete the nationwide search.
As part of the process, the Board of Education will host virtual and in-person meetings "to collect input from parents and the community on the qualities they would like to see in the new Superintendent of Schools," officials said in an email.
