District 304 Board Of Education Meeting, Nov. 27

From Geneva Schools: As part of our ongoing efforts to engage the community in local school governance, we will now be sending you a short preview of each Geneva School Board meeting. We hope this information makes it easier for you to discover and learn about the issues that are "on the table" for discussion or action. We hope to involve diverse citizens in dialogue, deliberation, and collaborative thinking around common concerns and new possibilities. Let's figure out what we can do together to improve opportunities for our students and ensure that our school system is a symbol of pride for every member of our community.

Students from both Harrison Street and Western Avenue schools will discuss their participation in the 2017 Global Read Aloud. This is an annual program designed to create global connections among classrooms through one book and various communication tools.

Director of Student Services Anne Girrante will provide an update on several areas of focus for her department this school year.

School Board Updates

Members will share information related to recent committee meetings and school district events that they have attended.
