District 304 Hires Safety & Security Coordinator

Raymond Adkins has been picked to takeover as District 304's safety and security coordinator.

GENEVA — The Geneva CUSD 304 Board of Education on Monday approved the hiring of Raymond Adkins as safety and security coordinator for the school district strict. The search for a new safety and security coordinator began in mid-October after the resignation of the previous Safety & Security Coordinator.

“Mr. Adkins will bring a great deal to our District in security,” said Superintendent Kent Mutchler. “He has a wealth of experience in this role — in both schools and police forces — and we look forward to welcoming him in Geneva 304.”

Adkins worked for the Naperville Police Department for 24 years where he served as a police officer, a police sergeant and, eventually, a police commander, according to a District 304 press release. During that time, he also spent several years working as the school resource officer at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville.
