District 304 to Host Innovation and Technology Forum This Week

Teachers and students from across the district will be demonstrating some of the district's innovative learning practices at the forum.

GENEVA, IL - The Geneva Board of Education will host the 2016 Innovation and Technology Forum on Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Geneva Middle School North, 1357 Viking Drive in Geneva.

This event provides residents of Geneva School District a chance to see how their investments in education through their tax dollars are helping to prepare Geneva’s young people for the future, according to a news release.

Teachers and students from across the district will be demonstrating some of the innovative learning practices that are helping Geneva achieve its vision of developing self-directed, lifelong learners; effective communicators; complex creative, and adaptive thinkers; and collaborative and productive citizens, according to a news release.

Residents can stop in anytime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to explore "innovation stations" and speak with students and teachers. Geneva Board of Education members will also be there to answer questions.
