Since 2006, the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission has been nurturing an innovative and vibrant cultural arts-focused community. Serving its mission to create diverse cultural arts experiences that engage the community, GCAC programming provides resources and opportunities for artists and art patrons to feed their passions. On a mission to birth a new annual fundraiser to enable the privately funded GCAC to continue infusing and enriching the community and its residents and visitors with the arts, Eat Your Art Out! was introduced on February 20, 2014.
EYAO! held at the beautiful Herrington Inn & spa, celebrated Featured Artists with a magical evening inspired by their creations. Artists and guests enjoyed a unique feast of masterpieces for the eyes, mouth and soul that evening, as well as memories and fine artwork for a lifetime.
Following a wildly successful event, EYAO! Event Chairs, Alexia Monaco and Trish Tkach, hosted an Artist Appreciation Luncheon on behalf of the GCAC on May 29, 2014. The talented, generous and community minded artists that provided inspiration for this year's event came together to celebrate the success of their contributions. And, once again, the Herrington provided so much more than sustenance, with a lovely culinary arts presentation in their scenic riverfront gazebo.

The GCAC extends special thanks to the Herrington for generously expanding their phenomenal art collection with a dedicated lobby space for the GCAC's EYAO! pieces. Currently on display, and available for purchase, is Larry Johnson's "Angel Study" in cast bronze, a must see.

On the heels of the debut presentation of EYAO! 2014, the date has already been set for what is being touted as the fine, fun and fabulous fundraiser of the year! It's not too soon to save the date for what promises to be another extraordinary evening on March 7, 2015. Guests will have the pleasure of being welcomed by dancers, musicians and more while perusing a fine silent auction table during the cocktail hour, amidst the featured artwork and talented artists. Following an art inspired multi-course feast, including wine pairings, a lively auction will commence.
