Earlier this week, Emergency Room physicians from Myanmar (formerly Burma) toured GreenFields of Geneva retirement community. GreenFields is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, rehabilitation and skilled care. The visitors were looking at the CCRC concept, which has not been adopted in Myanmar. One of the visitors, Dr. Mark Francis, has been to Myanmar doing ER physician consulting work. He is the son of an independent living resident at GreenFields.

“We were really pleased and proud to host these visitors, and to show off our beautiful community while explaining how the CCRC model truly benefits older adults,” said James Holbrook, executive director of GreenFields.
