Join us for FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS - ARNIS seminar,
showcasing Filipino Martial Arts. This is a unique open seminar with the opportunity to learn from renowned Masters Bambit Dulay and Rodolfo Poblacion visiting from the Philippine Islands. The seminar covers all ranges of Filipino weaponry and bare hands fighting. Training includes striking, locking, disarms, sweeps, takedowns, chokes, nerve strikes and ground work.
Knowledge of Arnis can be very useful in our daily lives not only as a form for self-defense but as an excellent exercise to stimulate body movements and enable proper blood circulations. This is a great way to experience the Philippine culture as it is embedded in the heart of the nation. Only recently was Arnis legally awarded position as the national sport, but it is widely practice by men women and even little kids all over the Philippines for many generations. No experience necessary.
Seminar cost is $80 per person. Please call to register for this event. Rattan training sticks will be provided for practice. If you would like to purchase your own they are available for $20 a pair, tax included.
