The following information is from the St. Charles Park District website: "At 1pm on July 4th, a big red balloon will be displayed above Langum 
Park.&nbsp;If you can see this balloon, you will have a great view of the 
fireworks at DARK.

<li>Bring your own tables and lawn chairs.</li>
<li>Food Truck: Snack Zone Concessions &amp; <a href="https://sweetsensationsgeneva.company.site/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Sweet Sensations</a> · 4pm-DARK</li>
<li>Glow Novelty Sales · 6-9pm: Proceeds benefit the Financial Aid Program</li>
<li>DJ Entertainment · 6:30-9:30pm</li>
<li>Information Tent: First Aid &amp; Lost Children</li>

<li>The upper east side of the park will be available for viewing.</li>
<li>The lower west side of the park will not be available for viewing.</li>
<li>Guests must remain outside the safety perimeter which will be marked with designated fencing.</li>
<li>Guests will not be allowed the in the grassy area along the Fox 
River Trail across from Langum Park as the safety perimeter extends to 
the Fox River.</li>
<li>Pathways will be closed 10-20 minutes prior to the fireworks show.</li>

Gather your crew for a real Viking adventure! The World Famous 1893 Viking ship will be open to explore on Saturday, July 18...the ONLY public open day this month to see it! Our beautiful, full-sized&nbsp; 78 foot long "VIKING" was based on a 1000 year old buried ship. Hand built in Norway in 1893, she was sailed non-stop across the entire stormy North Atlantic by a hardy crew of 12 adventurers to become a star attraction of Chicago's 1893 World's Columbian Exposition.Hear her exciting story, admire her dramatic beauty, and learn the secrets of the ancient Viking shipbuilders from our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. No reservations or tickets are needed. Tours begin every 15 minutes, and are approximately 45 minutes long. Self-guide optional for families with small children. Enjoy our hands-on displays of authentic replica Viking tools, cookware, weapons and jewelry. Watch our display of rare period images. And enjoy the selection of high quality and reasonably priced Viking themed items from our gift shop.&nbsp; Tours begin at 10:00 AM. Last tour begins at 3:45 PM. Still only $7 for adults, $4 teens 13-17, and 12 and under FREE. Note-the ship is in a gravel floored maintenance space. No flush toilets on site
