Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a practice for everyone, young and old, active and inactive, over tired or over stressed. Join Louise for a deeply relaxing restorative class that will relax and renew. A restorative practice consists of passive-seated yoga poses, with long holds, and supported poses which affect the parasympathetic nervous system that will quiet your mind. By working passively and turning your attention inward, you release deep tension and relax completely to restore energy, physically and mentally.

Restorative yoga has been shown to reduce the effects of stress-related disease, is beneficial for hormonal imbalance, anxiety, depression, immune and digestive dysfunction. It’s for those times when you feel weak, fatigued or stressed from your daily activities.
