Communities all over the Chicago area will offer fireworks in the coming days. Here is a look at fireworks displays worth checking out in Kane County:

Dundee Township Fireworks

When: June 27 at 9:30 p.m.

Where: Meadowdale Park/Shopping Center, Besinger and Maple Avenue in Carpentersville

What to Expect: The Smoking Gunz will perform from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The fireworks show may begin 30 minutes early or be delayed up to one hour due to inclement weather.

Aurora Independence Day Fireworks

When: 9:30 p.m. on July 3

Where: RiverEdge Park, 360 N. Broadway Ave.; and McCullough Park, Illinois Ave. & Lake St.

What to Expect: Fireworks can be viewed at both parks and across the river. Free family activities from 6 to 10 p.m.

Batavia July 4th Sky Concert Fireworks

When: 9:30 p.m. on July 4

Where: The pyrotechnics are placed on the Mooseheart field. The audience is invited to watch from Engstrom Park, at the corner of Millview Drive and West Main Street. There is additional audience space on the Batavia High School athletic fields on West Main Street.

What to Expect: The event begins with the Savor-the-Flavor food vendors, which begin to serve an assortment of treats at 5 p.m. and continues until the show begins at 9:30 p.m.

St Charles 4th of July

When: Dusk on July 4

Where: Pottawatomie Park, 8 North Avenue

What to Expect: The fireworks are best viewed at Pottawatomie Park or Ferson Creek Park. Fox Valley Concert Band will perform from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the amphitheater and Hello Dave will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. at the Historic Pavilion.

Sugar Grove Corn Boil

When: July 25 at dusk

Where: Held during the Corn Boil Festival. The Corn Boil is located at 61 Main Street in Sugar Grove.

What to Expect: The Sugar Grove Corn Boil runs July 23 through 26.
