Four Seasons Gardening Series offered by U of I Extension starts April 8th

University of Illinois Extension is once again offering its Four Seasons Gardening Spring/Summer Series to help backyard gardeners expand their knowledge. Held at the St. Charles office (535 S Randall Road), sessions will be presented via teleconference and cost $10 each. Upcoming sessions:

  • The Basics of Growing Herbs – Tuesday, April 8th from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Pest Control Strategies in the Garden – Thursday, April 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Bargain Gardening – Tuesday, May 6th from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Home Orchards – Thursday, June 26th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Starting a Youth Garden – Tuesday, July 8th from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Mosquitoes and West Nile Virus – Thursday, July 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
