Fox River Bridge Project on Fabyan Starts This Week

The seven-month long project gets underway on June 10.

GENEVA, IL -- Those who travel Fabyan Parkway regularly should expect delays starting this week as a work begins on the bridge over the Fox River. The seven-month long project gets underway on June 10. Repair work will include median and deck removal and replacement, light pole cleaning and painting, and bridge structural repair and maintenance.

Construction will be done in three phases and is anticipated to be completed in December, weather permitting, according to a news release from the city of Geneva. Drivers should expect lane closures and heavy traffic along Fabyan Parkway for the duration of the project.
