Fox Valley Festival Chorus Plans Italy Performance Tour--New Singers Welcome to Join Group

The Fox Valley Festival Chorus invites new members to join for the 2016-2017 Season. Several opening still remain for the Italy performance tour which includes a performance at the Vatican in June 2017.

Rehearsals will begin, Monday September 12, from 7 -9:30 pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 27 S. Edgelawn, Aurora. The 60+ voice Chorus, under the direction of Mary Beth McCarthy and accompanied by Bonnie Werthmann, has performed for over 65 years in this area as well as at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

Members range in age from high school students to retirees. No auditions are necessary to join the Chorus. Although the group rehearses and frequently performs in churches, the group has no religious affiliation.
