Garden Plots Now Available At Community Gardens at Prairie Green
Excess produce is donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

The Geneva Park District is pleased to announce garden plots are available at the Community Gardens at Prairie Green, according to a news release. Located at the intersection of Peck Road and Bricher Road in Geneva, the Community Garden is open between April and October from dawn until dusk. The plots are available for rent on an annual first-come, first-served basis, with returning gardeners receiving priority.
The cost per plot is $45 for Geneva Park District Residents and $60 for Non-Residents, according to a news release.
The Community Gardens at Prairie Green offers residents and non-residents the opportunity to grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers; spend time outdoors enjoying nature; and share gardening knowledge and skills with others. Excess produce is donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

The Community Gardens at Prairie Green is a cooperative partnership between the Geneva Park District, City of Geneva, and Forest Preserve District of Kane County.
