Gas Gauge: Prices Back Under $4!

Well, what do you know.

OK, technically Geneva gas prices are on average more than $4 a gallon.

That's because every gas price in Geneva is $3.99, except one. And since those others technically (again) are $3.999, well, we get the nudge over the $4 mark.

The really good news is that the price overall dropped like a rock—from $4.22 on the average just a week ago.

Why is this? I'm wondering if it has to do with the Midwest refinery coming back to full operation. I'll have to do an Internet search when I get a chance. In the meantime, if you find out anything that explains the plummet in price, leave a comment here, please.

Here are the prices from this morning (Monday); All are tied for first except for Citgo on the West Side.
