Gas prices are down in Illinois, so before you fill up the tank, take a look at the lowest gas prices in Geneva.
GENEVA, IL — Gas prices are slightly down from the previous week, giving Geneva residents a little relief at the pump. As of Thursday, the average price for gas in Illinois is about $4.46 per gallon, according to AAA. That's down 3 cents from a week ago.
Nationally, the average Thursday was about $4.23 per gallon.
At around $4.41 per gallon in Kane County Thursday, gas prices were slightly under the state average.

According to GasBuddy, the cheapest gas in Geneva is selling for $4.39 per gallon at Amstar, 1501 E. State St. Here are some other places you can save in town:
- Amoco at 1166 E. State St., $4.49 per gallon
- Shell at 1491 E. State St., $4.49 per gallon
