Gas Price Update: Relief At The Station For Geneva Residents

GENEVA, IL — Geneva residents are experiencing some relief at the pump thanks to a decrease in the price of a gallon of gas in the last month.

At around $3.93 per gallon in Kane County, gas prices were slightly higher than the state average, coming in at $3.83 Wednesday — that's down 20 cents from a month ago, AAA data shows.

The last time Patch took a look at gas prices in the area, the average was $4.22 a gallon.

Nationally, the price per gallon of gas was going for an average of $3.56 Wednesday.

According to GasBuddy, the cheapest gas in Geneva is selling for $3.99 per gallon at Amoco, 1166 E. State St. Here is what other stations around town are charging:
