Those wishing to vote for their favorite performer can do so by donating to the GAF. GAF volunteers will be walking around with buckets during each singing performance for those wishing to vote/donate.
Dollars raised are added to judges' scores to come up with an overall score. Awards will be given to Best Individual and Best School Team. We will also be having a "finish that tune" contest in between singers and will award prizes for that as well. Lastly, we will have a raffle for a Night at the Herrington Inn and a week of summer of camp at The School of Rock.
Following the event will be a live performance from "Hooked On Sonics," featuring rock and pop cover songs from the 80s and 90s.
The Geneva Academic Foundation will also be hosting its first-ever Geneva Idol Karaoke for those under 21 years old on Jan. 29. The event will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at EvenFlow Music & Spirits.
