Geneva Business Owner to Close Clothing Store, Day Spa

GENEVA, IL - After 10 years in Geneva, C'est La Vie by Sylvie will close this Sunday.

Owner Sylvie Baumann told the Kane County Chronicle her husband has been transferred to Singapore. The women’s clothing store at 25 S. 3rd St. is offering steep discounts through the weekend as it preps to close. Baumann will also close Beaute by Sylvie, a day spa at 211 James Street in Geneva.

As of this past week, all clothing had been discounted by 80 percent, according to the C’est La Vie by Sylvie Facebook page. Discounts were also being offered at Baumann’s spa, according to the Beaute by Sylvie Facebook page.

A new women’s clothing store, Juri & June, is slated to open in the 3rd street location this June, according to the Kane County Chronicle.
