Geneva High School Senior Chosen for Grammy Media Team
Angelie Humbert was one of two in the U.S. chosen to be a part of the Grammy in the Schools media team.

A Geneva High School senior will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in coming weeks as she works as part of the Grammy in the Schools media team in the week leading up to the annual awards show.
Angelie Humbert, 18, was one of two high school students across the United States to be selected as part of the media team. Humbert was chosen from over 100 students who attended Grammy Camp last summer to be a part of the Grammy Week media team.
She will be attending and covering multiple Grammy Week events and capturing video content at those events, conducting possible interviews with guest artists, and working with other media outlets on press red carpets, according to a Geneva High School news release. Her reporting will be uploaded to the Grammy in the Schools website throughout Grammy week.

“We are very proud of her,” Jaimie Humbert said.
She said her daughter is very committed to a career in journalism. She said Angelie surprised her parents in recent years when she decided to quit volleyball, a sport she thrived in, to focus her attention on writing.
“At the time we were like, ‘Why would you ever quit?” Jaimie Humbert said. “We were glad that the difficult decision to switch gears and go with her passion worked out so well for her.”
Those interested in following Angelie’s work during Grammy Week can do so on the Grammy in the Schools website.
