Geneva to Host Easter Egg Hunts, Bunny Breakfast

The Geneva Park District will be hosting the following egg hunts and a bunny breakfast in coming weeks:

The Egg-Mazing Race & Night Owl Egg Hunt

Geneva Park District will host an event for teens ages 10 to 14 years old starting at 5:30 p.m. on March 18 at Wheeler Park. Check-in is at 5 p.m.

Teams will solve a series of clues and participate in challenges scattered around Wheeler Park in order to find the bunny hiding in the dark. Make sure you dress appropriately and bring your own flashlight. Afterwards, participate in a good old-fashioned egg hunt.

There are a variety of prizes including gift certificates to Sunset Pool, Stone Creek Miniature Golf and a variety of local restaurants. Pre-registration is recommended, but day-of registration will be accepted.

Pre-registration for the Egg-mazing Race is $3 (N/R $5) and Night Egg Hunt is $2 (N/R $4). On-Site registration is $5 (N/R $7) for each event. All parents must sign waiver, prior to their child participating in this event. For more information, please call (630) 232-4542.

FREE! Annual Egg Hunt

Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center Soccer Fields– Saturday, March 19, 10 a.m.

Join the Geneva Park District as we hunt for over 5,000 eggs at our Annual Egg Hunt outside the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center. The free-to-the-public egg hunt begins promptly at 10 a.m., and features two age-specific areas—one for children 4 and under, and one for those 5 and up.

Participants are encouraged to arrive early as parking is limited. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather. The Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center is located at 3507 Kaneville Road, Geneva. For more information, call (630) 232-4542 or visit genevaparks.org.

Bunny Breakfast

Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center – Saturday, March 19, 8:15 a.m. & 10:15 a.m.

Fuel up before or after our 10 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt at the Bunny Breakfast inside the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center. Breakfast includes yummy pancakes with the Easter Bunny. Sign up for before our egg hunt from 8:15-9:45 a.m. or after from 10:15-11:45 a.m. Breakfast is sponsored by Buttermilk.

Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available for a limited time: 8:30-9:30 a.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m.Professional photographs provided by Geneva Bank & Trust will be available for pick up at a later date. Attendees are welcome to bring their own cameras.

Cost is $5 per person ($8 nonresident). Children one and under are free, but must register. High chairs are not available. Advance registration required. Early registration recommended.
