Geneva Library Announces Artist of the Month

Geneva Public Library announces the artist for the month for January is Bayley Murphy. Bayley Murphy is a local collage artist. She enjoys collage art because it allows her to invent and express ideas about the world.

The artwork featured in this exhibition showcases her interest in history, stereotypes, color, and text, using print materials from the early 1900s to modern day. Bayley's collages illustrate her perception of how society depicts women and re-enforces female stereotypes in the media.
