Geneva Library Foundation's construction-themed Giving Tree represents the new Geneva Public Library currently under construction at 227 S. Seventh St.

The Foundation has undertaken a capital campaign for the new library, “With You, We Will Build a Legacy,” seeking private contributions to help them further enhance the new library and provide an ongoing endowment. The prospective opening date for the new library is fall of 2019.

The public is invited to vote for their favorite tree at the Geneva History Museum located at 113 S. Third St. or online at genevahistorymuseum.org with donation dollars.

Voting continues through Saturday, Dec. 22. The museum sells tickets for $1 and there is no limit to the number of times an individual can vote.

The winning organization keeps 100 percent of the funds pledged to support their tree. The remaining organizations split the winnings with the museum.
