
GENEVA, IL - Geneva resident Bob Gamboni scratched an Illinois Lottery $10 Million Cash Bonanza ticket and instantly won $100,000, according to an Illinois Lottery press release.
“I plan to pay bills and invest,” he said when he presented his winning ticket at the Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.
Gamboni was at 7-Eleven, 621 West State Street in Geneva, when he bought and scratched his $100,000 winning ticket. The retailer received a bonus of $1,000, equal to one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, according to an Illinois Lottery press release.
