Geneva Middle Schools to Host Author, ESPN Anchor Mike Lupica
Lupica will sign books and make a presentation at both middle schools on Monday.

Both middle schools in Geneva will host best-selling author, New York sports columnist, and ESPN host Mike Lupica on Monday April 10.
Lupica will talk to 7th grade students about his career and his middle grade sports fiction series, Home Team, which features his newest release, Point Guard, according to a news release. Along with writing fiction, Lupica is the anchor for the popular ESPN show The Sports Reporters and The Mike Lupica Show on ESPN2.
Lupica began his career as a sports columnist in 1977 when he became the youngest columnist ever at the New York Daily News.

"Both middle schools are excited to meet Mr. Lupica to learn more about his career and writing," according to a District 304 news release.
Mr. Lupica will arrive at Geneva Middle School North, 1357 Viking Drive in Geneva, for a book signing at 11 a.m. on Monday followed by a presentation at 11:32 a.m.. He will arrive at Geneva Middle School South, 1415 Viking Drive in Geneva, at 12:20 p.m. and will signs books in the library starting at 12:30 p.m. A presentation will start at 1:05 p.m.
